Consider this a back-to-school checklist for parents who want to establish and maintain a strong connection to our school community.

  1. Add your information to the Chapman Family Directory. This is an opt-in directory and is a great way to arrange playdates, car pools, send birthday invitations, etc. The Directory is password protected and should not be shared beyond our community.
  2.  Join the PTA. If the membership fee is a hardship for you, please contact with a scholarship request.
  3. Join and refer parents to the Friends of Chapman Facebook group or follow @ChapmanPDX on Twitter. The Facebook page is a closed group, so a parent admin will need to approve you before you can see the posts. It generally takes no more than a few hours. Don’t do social media?
