Oregon Battle of the Books  (OBOB) is coming virtually to Chapman this year. OBOB is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries, OASL. Students in 3rd-12th grade, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. The mission is to encourage reading among students.  

This year Chapman OBOB participants in grades 3-5 will take part in virtual team meetings and a virtual school-wide competition. All regional and state competitions, usually held in March, have been canceled this year. If your child is interested please fill out a  Permission Slip.
