This has been an unprecedented year. We understand this is an especially challenging time for businesses. We will try to support our local businesses as you have supported our school. If you have ideas for a business partnership that would help during this time, or want to connect with us, please contact AJ Schricker, chair of the Chapman Education Foundation (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Promote your business while supporting Chapman Elementary School
We are looking for local businesses to support Chapman Elementary School while promoting your business to thousands of potential local customers.
We are the “Swift School” adjacent to Wallace Park, the only neighborhood public elementary school in the Northwest District, with over 500 families local to the Northwest District, Pearl, Downtown, West Hills and Goose Hollow. Our school grounds are used by thousands of community members as they use our turf to play soccer, sit on our hill overlooking our turf to watch the migrating Vaux’s Swifts roost in our chimney every fall (www.audubonportland.org/go-outside/swift-watch), and use our school playground as they visit the adjacent public park. All potential customers for your business!
With over 25% of Chapman’s students on free or reduced lunch, we need community support from businesses like yours to raise the money we need. Your support helps the Chapman Educational Foundation commit funds for teaching positions and educational assistants to ensure right-sized classes, plus pay for technology in classrooms, intervention programs like Reading Results to ensure all students are reading at grade level, and events like Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Night for our students.
That’s why we are asking you to consider supporting Chapman through one of our programs below.
If you are interested in a business sponsorship for the Chapman Elementary School, please contact AJ schricker, chair of the Chapman Education Foundation (email@example.com).
Buy a Brick
Make a legacy donation of $2,500 in return for an inscribed brick (up to 3 lines of up to 18 characters each) installed by the Chapman playground and viewable for years to come.
Buy a Banner
Advertise your business on a 2’x5’ weatherproof custom banner displayed behind the Chapman turf. Your donation of $1,750 gives you one year of daily promotion to the thousands of hill-sitting, swift-viewing visitors every fall as well as all the community residents who use the turf year-round
Sponsor our Auction
The Chapman auction is our biggest annual fundraising event in March, but it costs money to put on. Make a monetary donation of $1,000 or more to help defray our costs and get listed on our auction program and website. In addition, we are always looking for goods or services—big or small—to auction. Donate goods or services from your business to be featured in our auction. Contact Emily Price.
Host Dining for Dollars
As a local restaurant, host a Dining for Dollars event on a specific date. We advertise the dining event, encouraging families to dine at your restaurant. You donate a small portion of your day’s profits to Chapman. Contact Nicole Mather.
Sponsor a School Event
Chapman puts on numerous events for our families, such as the Swift Family Fun Run, Chapman Community Dinner, Chapman Art Ball, STEM Night, and the School Musical. All these events cost money. Make a monetary donation of $500 or more to help defray our costs, and get listed on our program for the event.
Make an unearmarked donation of $250 or more and we will send you a window sticker for your business so you can promote your support of Chapman. In addition, we will list your business on the www.friendsofchapman.org website and a biannual flyer to the Chapman community listing our donors by sponsorship level: Diamond Sponsors $20,000 and up; Titanium Sponsors: $15,000; Platinum Sponsors: $10,000; Gold Sponsors: $5,000; Silver Sponsors: $2,000; Bronze Sponsors: $1,000; Partner Sponsors: $250. We are also looking for additional ways to thank and promote our Diamond Sponsors.
