Help the Chapman PTA provide Chapman families in need with grocery gift cards during Spring Break. Our goal is to raise money to provide gift cards for groceries to families over the week off (when PPS does not provide regular meals). We appreciate any assistance you can give.
This year’s Chapman PTA & Foundation annual fundraiser will be one for the books! You won’t want to miss this week-long online auction and virtual celebration of our school.
The best part about making our event virtual, is that the kids can be a part of it too! There will be games, videos, Zoom parties, fun surprises, and of course an amazing online auction featuring the ever-popular class art projects.
So mark your calendars for May 16th-21st and join us in Looking Forward to all of the wonderful things to come for our Chapman Community!
This year’s Chapman School Auction will raise funds for essential Chapman community needs for the 2021-2022 school year.

Distance learning is still relatively new. At times, it can feel confusing, overwhelming, and even out of reach for some.
Thanks to a generous grant from Oregon Health Authority, Friendly House is developing a pilot program to offer free support to students and families and improve their experience. Student Success at Home aims to alleviate and elevate by providing resources, technical and academic support, and social interaction so students can stay engaged and families can feel equipped and capable.
You do not need to be enrolled with Friendly House After School to benefit from this program. Interested families can complete a one-time questionnaire at FriendlyHouseInc.org to help us understand your specific needs and tailor our support. If internet connectivity or other technical issues are a barrier to completing the form easily, call Chris at (503)935-5269.
Happy November! A reminder that tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 2nd, is the last day to submit a photo into the Festive Fall Photo Raffle. One winner will get $30 to a local business of their choice! Send your photos to email@example.com.
Dining for Dollar$ not only raises significant funds for Chapman but also builds community. It gives us a way for Chapman families to connect with each other and with our neighborhood restaurant community. Even though Dining for Dollar$ is on hold for this school year, please take a moment to check out all our Chapman Dining Friends from last school year and consider them for a dining, take out, or gift card giving option. It’s our turn to be their friend this school year. Look forward to Dining for Dollar$ events building community one meal at a time when the time is right.
* Tap & Table, Xica Cantina, and Olympia Provisions are currently only operating from east side locations.
Friendly House is working to support all working families and asks that any family who feels the price for their family income is unaffordable to apply for a scholarship, even if they do not meet the criteria on the application. The pandemic is an atypical time and there is more support and funding available. Learn more about Oregon’s Enrollment Related Day Care program, and how to apply for a scholarship: EDRC. You can view the scholarship form here and for more scholarship information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
