Chapman has loads of different ways to volunteer. Whether you’re looking for a short commitment during school hours, a weekly commitment, a one time weekend work party, or even something that can be done at home in the evenings, there is something for you! Please see the PPS district volunteer requirements. Once you’ve filled out the application and background check, and read through the mandatory training, see the current volunteer opportunities below. Don’t see something that fits your needs, please contact Molly Porter.
VOLUNTEERING IN 2020-2021
Due to the pandemic, parents and volunteers are not allowed inside the school building. There may be other ways to volunteer virtually. Contact your child’s teacher to see if they would like any volunteers or reach out to the PTA for possible opportunities.
Portland Public Schools implemented a new volunteer/visitor management system for starting the 2019 school year. Please read the information here as the requirements have changed.
Read through this doc to learn all about how to volunteer at Chapman.
